About us
No one knows when or how a single, seemingly minor event can shape the course of their life. Growing up in Missouri, I developed a deep passion for hunting, an interest passed down to me by my dad. From an early age, I loved the outdoors—especially deer hunting.
For as long as I can remember, whenever someone in our hunting group harvested a deer on or near the family farm, we would bring it back to the “Big Old Oak Tree” in our yard. Using an extension ladder, we’d reach a sturdy limb, attach straps with block and tackle, and hoist the deer up. After field dressing, we would rinse and process the meat, preparing it for the freezer.
For nearly 30 years, this method served us well.
But after decades of use and countless deer hung from that “Big Old Oak Tree,” the limb started to die and one year, we determined that the limb wouldn’t survive another season.
That’s when the wheels started turning. I needed a solution that was not only safer and more efficient but also built to last a lifetime. With steel square tubing, some fabrication, winches, gambrels, and the drive to never rely on another dying tree limb again, my first deer hanger was born. It worked flawlessly—and to this day, that same hanger is still in use. It has held countless deer and will outlast not only me but also my grandkids. Long after I’m gone, they’ll still be hanging deer on it.
Looking back on a lifetime of hunting, I can’t imagine going without our deer hanger. Over the years, I’ve hunted with friends and family in many different places, and I’ve seen the variety of methods hunters use to process their game. While every hunter has their own approach, I believe most would prefer a safer, easier, and more efficient way to hang their game after a successful hunt.
Since that first prototype, our hangers have evolved into an essential tool that makes post-harvest processing simpler, safer, and more efficient. Never again do you have to worry about how you’ll hang your next trophy or game animal for skinning, capping, or processing. With our hangers, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime investment.
From hunting outfitters to guides to the occasional weekend hunter, we have a hanger to fit everyone’s needs.
